Windows 8 64-bit: I need to temporarily disable Bitdefender completely while re-partitioning the HDU. Essentially, I do not want Bitdefender to start when the system re-boot_s. How can I do this without uninstalling Bitdefender?

You can remove Bitdefender from start up (msconfig>startup tab), when you are done retick the startup boxes.
