Zones Problem
Hi,
I've been having a problem since BD 2013 and don't know how to solve it.
I have search the forum and found some articles as specially
http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...492&hl=zone
Also found this article, someone with the same problem..
http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...767&hl=zone
The "solution" is upgrade to the New Bitdefender or remove BD and reinstall.
I had many installations of Windows, from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 and everytime the problem appears
I'm running version 17.27.0.1146, so that isn't the solution.
I have a couple of zones configured for WiFi AND the Ethernet adapter.
For some reasons after a reboot the list of zones configured are empty. This is not all the time.
It comes randomly and can't figure out when. Maybe firewall update??
I can tell when the zones are empty because my machine cannot contact my domain controller and it takes ages to start-up Windows.
Then I need to add it manually, 20 address PER ADAPTER, which is very frustrating.
I don't want to add the zone in the format 10.x.x.x/24, just specific addresses.
How can I solve this problem for the address not to disappear again? Or introduce a import function for the zones.

Hi Donovan,
Thank you for your post.
Please let me know if this situation applies to your computer:
Georgia,
No entirely. His problem is that the ip-addresses added in the adapter rules are removed the same day, but mine are removed, sometimes days or weeks, later.
I have a semi static ipaddress, because I made a reservation in DHCP for my WiFi and Ethernet adapter. (Situation at the Office)
At home I don't care what my ip-address is. The Wifi network from the Office is also available at home, so 9 out of 10 times I'm always connected the Office network.
For the setting Generic, Yes is selected.
And I have to change it everytime the ipaddress added to the adapter rules disappear. It's like the settings go back to default.
The same setting is also configure for my Ethernet adapter, but since it's not connected at the moment, you don't see it.
So I hope you have another article I can take a look at.

Thank you for your reply and sorry for the delayed answer.
I would like to forward the reported issue to our Testing team and, in order to do that, I need a support tool log from the computer where this situation occurs:

Upload the BDSP_ log resulted on your Desktop on www.sendspace.com and post the download link. Or contact Bitdefender support via http://www.bitdefender.com/en/Main/contactEmail and make sure to mention the link to this topic.
Thank you, looking forward to hearing from you.0
