How Enable A Port

Just installed Bit Defender total security 2008 a few minutes ago and after every thing is finished and when I am trying to open a port # 49324 I've got an error that it is not opened.

Where exactly can I enable this port?

I've searched all over the product especially the firewall part but nothing there.

Please advise.

Hello MGadAllah,

If you want to open a port you have to go to the traffic section of the firewall. If it's for a certain application that needs access to the internet you have first to press on the add-icon (which looks like a folder icon with an + inside) Now press on browse to navigate to the folder where the executable is located that need access to the internet now press on advanced button there you can enter which ports need to be opened. Don't forget to press on ok to save the changes and to press on add. If you just want to open that port entirely press also on the add button but check the option apply the rule for all applications for the rest follow the exact same instructions.
