Q: How secure are my current settings ?


Q: How can I disable internet connection without pulling the LAN cable out. ?

    Let me try to answer this with a link, I know it's the lazy way out, but I'm heading out for the weekend :)

    As far as blocking outbound connections, go to your main BD Firewall Panel, click Manage Adapters and for the Network type, check "Untrusted".
