Owncloud 6.0.4

Options

System Configuration:

Windows 7 Prof. x64

Firefox 30.0

Thunderbird 24.6.0 with Lightning AddOn 2.6.6

Owncloud 6.0.4 running on Synology DS 713+ and reachable over DDNS URL

Error Description:

When trying to to open the Owncloud URL in Firefox 30.0 I get a message from BD that this url containes infected files and I have to click "take me there anyway" to get to Owncloud login screen.

When Trying to create a new event in Lightning 2.6.6 that should be saved over CalDAV on The Owncloud server I get an 403 Error Message.

I don't find an appropriate setting in BD to exclude the owncloud URL from being scanned and to put the owncloud URL on a whitelist.

Please, If someone could give me a hint how to do that, I could get rid of this annoying error.

Perhaps the BD developers could publish a new update to circumvent this false positive?

I don't know of a whitelist option for the web filter either. your best course of action is to submit this as a false positive so they can remove the detection from the databases. they won't necessarily monitor this forum thread and pick this up here.

    Thanks for your answer.

I submitted this URL as a false positive (ticket number 2014071607410002)

Hopefully the false detection will be removed by Bitdefender laboratories.

If not, I still would appreciate a whitelist function for URLs, as it is already possible for files, directories and processes.

    Just to let you know...

Bitdefender implemented a whitelist function for URLs in the latest 2015 version.

Thanks a lot. Now my problems are all gone :D
