I purchased a 1-year 3 PC subscription today; however, I don't plan on installing Bitdefender until 5 months from now. My question is, when does the 1-year mark begin, today, or the day I use the activation code for the first time?

    The count down starts when you first register the license, so if you don't register it on any computer for the next five months it will be OK for a full year from then.
