Hello,
Bitdefender Antivirus Plus keeps causing a BSOD on Windows 8.1 because I have Asus AI Suite III installed. I know Bitdefender recommends AI Suite to be uninstalled when installing the program, but I am wondering if I can install AI Suite again after Bitdefender has been successfully installed? Will there be any conflicts between the two programs?

Nope unfortunately that version of AI Suite cannot be left on the system or re-installed after setup if you want to run Bitdefender on your PC. The BSODs will continue if you try.
