Bitdefender Running Too Much

My BitDefender is doing a full scan at least three times a day. (I can't speak for overnight.) This is not normal. And yet I can't find anything on the Dashboard that relates to changing settings. (Really, the pitch black skin is a disaster. An option would be nice.)

How do I inspect (and possibly change) settings?
