Turning on or off automatic update
To turn on or off automatic update, follow these steps:
1. Open the Bitdefender window.
2. Click the icon at the top of the window and select General Settings
from the drop-down menu.
3. In the General Settings window, select the Update tab.

4. Click the switch to turn on or off the automatic update.
5. A warning window will appear. You must confirm your choice by selecting
from the menu how long you want the automatic update to be disabled.
You can disable the automatic update for 5, 15 or 30 minutes, for an hour,
permanently or until the system restart.

What I meant was:
By default:
1: Game mode supposed to auto-update every 12 hours.
2: Work mode supposed to auto-update every 2 hours.
3: Movie mode supposed to auto-update every 8 hours.
Mine on any mode set to update every 1 hour.
Needs to be fixed.0 -
Rebooted computer, problem fixed for now.
