Utorrent Message Pops Up Infectex

I've always used uTorrent as a torrent client to download movies. I've also used www.yts.re to download all my movies from since it seems like the most legit download site for movies. Recently every time I start up uTorrent I get a message that pops up from Bitdefender saying

"The appliction utorrent.exe accesses a web resource http://update.utorrent.li/installstats.php...er&pid=6864 that has been detected as infected. The web resource has been successfully blocked and your PC is now safe."

How can i eliminate this problem and go back to using uTorrent?

Hiya,

I suggest you send the URL to Bitdefender via their "False Positive" reporting system. It shows on Virus Total as being detected as infected by Bitdefender but not other AVs and BD certainly blocks it (tried it in a sandbox ).

Hopefully if it is all clear BD will unblock it fairly quickly in a definitions update.
