No Internet Connection In Browsers With Firewall Enabled

Alright, if I have the firewall enabled on BitDefender, it blocks all websites on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. I:

  1. Have Manage adapters at Trusted / Stealth mode Off / Generic On.
  2. Have all three browsers added as allowed in Application settings.
  3. Have my router's IP added in Adapter rules / Add Zone.

I can also receive packets in Command Prompt from ping www.google.com and other DNS pings, as well as ping my router. How do I fix the firewall?

  • It could be possible that you might have set a rule at the firewall to block http(port 80) traffic. Can you browse sites that are https? I'm not sure if it's an option for you but it could help if you post a screen shot of your firewall rules here. Just scratch out any IP Addresses. 1.gif
