Files Increasing On My Hard Drive Daily Since Installing Bitdefender Free Av..

Hi,

I installed Bitdefender free AV last week and have noticed while defragmentng that the file numbers on my hard drive are increasing daily.

When I check what files have been defragmented almost all of them are related to Bitdefender.

I really like this AV and it`s simplicity,but I don`t want my HD filling up with so many files from BDF.

Are the Bitdefender files going to keep increasing? If so,is there any way to clean them up and keep them to a minimum?

I installed this antivirus in may 2014. Its volume is now on the hard disk is 272 MB. It is not the size that would crush his head. Any browser with a populated cache has much larger dimensions.

I would in your place not worried about it.

And Defragmenter let it performs its task.

By the way, on Windows Vista and above enough built-in tool. He is worthy works automatically and does not distract the user from his task.
