Can Bit Defender Block A Virus On A Disk?

Hi Bitdefender community, I have just brought watchdogs on eBay that is coming in on a disk for my pc, I got it for a great price so I didn't hesitate but now in thinking that there may be a virus on the disk... If there is will bit defender be able to identify it and block/delete it?

Hello Punchball,

Bitdefender is set by default to scan CDs/DVDs, you can find the setting from your GUI>Antivirus (gear icon)>Exclusions tab. You can also insert the CD, make sure it is not set to autorun, and right click it - Bitdefender>Scan.
