Scan Password Protected Pdf Files
I am using Bitdefender 2015 products as below.
Windows Vista 32Bit - Bitdefender Internet Security 2015
Windows 7 64Bit - Bitdefender Internet Security 2015
Windows 7 64Bit - Bitdefender Total Security 2015
Whenever I scan any Password Protected PDF File, Bitdefender scan completes with information as it could not scanned password protected file, scan individual password protected file again by right clicking and entering a password.
PDF File --> Right Click --> Bitdefender --> scan with bitdefender.
Scan starts,
but
it never asks me for password of files to be scanned.
I even opened this PDF File by entering password. Then Right Click this File - Scan....
But same result.
Does anyone encountered such a issue ?
To test this,
Create any sample PDF file from MS Word, while saving as PDF, give any simple password.
Right click this PDF File - Bitdefender - scan with bitdefender.
Check whether it asks for password while scanning ?
I have also sent this Test PDF File to Bitdefender.
Bitdefender Support Engineer informed me that they have scanned this file with multiple machines, and machines prompt for password.
Bitdefender Support Engineer advised me to 'Repair' BitDefender Product.
I have done Repair Procedure.
But problem still exists.
Bitdefender never asks me for a password of PDF File, while scanning.
Please help.
