Bitdefender And Gog Galaxy
When I installed GOG galaxy and was installing The Witcher 3 through it, Bitdefender blocked galaxyclient.exe. I told it to unblock and everything seemed fine. Last night , while playing Witcher, my computer just shut down and rebooted. It booted to the welcome screen and then went to a blank black screen that just stayed there. I tried rebooting and the same thing. To make a long story short, the only way I got it fixed was to boot into Safe Mode and uninstall Bitdefender free which in a partial boot to desktop after over 10 minutes on the black screen said was not working but had tried to update at the exact time the shutdown of the computer had occurred. I have reinstalled BD Free and allowed it to update fully before trying the game again and all seems fine. It seems that BD Free has a problem with GOG galaxy.
