Firewall Blocking Chrome **resolved** Read Here For Solution!
BitDefeder firewall was mysteriously blocking Chrome for no apparent reason at all. After all of the troubleshooting steps listed in this forum section for firewall, I have come to the conclusion that Chrome spawns multiple processes namely Chrome.exe - this confused BitDefender firewall software.
You will need to open task manager and kill all Chrome processes. Then you will be able to use Chrome with BitDefender firewall enabled.
