I've been testing out some AV programs to install on customers computers. I like Bitdefenders look, feel, and detection rate. But a few customers asked why such a high memory usage for such a set it and forget it type of program ? I have been given rates of memory such as gzserv.exe- 175,000 K, and a commit charge of , 475 M/ 5596 M, when they told me their last AV only produced around 7,345 K- 14, 254 K, and a commit of 163 M/5596 M - 275 M/5596 M. I push Bitdefender as being light and simple to use to my customers, but they are questioning what they see in Task Manager. Can you help me with an answer? Is the high commit charge normal ? Thanks.
