Ransomeware Module Error
Hello everyone,
I have found an error in Bitdefender 2016 that is easy to replicate and I believe needs to be patched. Basically all the modules work as they should with the exception of the Ransomware module.
When you open the Ransomware module everything seems to be fine. However upon closing Bitdefender it will throw an error in the event viewer and the reliability report stating the Ransomware module
was not closed down correctly as its the faulting module. To replicate this issue follow these steps.
1. Open Bitdefender.
2. Open the Ransomware module.
3. Close Bitdefender.
4. Check your event viewer or reliability monitor for the new error.
