Malicious ****** Protection
Bitdefender's malicious ****** protections are good, but not quite perfected yet.
More refined ****** protection at the interpreter level (parser) will make Bitdefender even more secure... for interpreters that ship with Windows - and not all the other ones that typical user would virtually never install (AutoIT, Python, etc).
It appears some malicious scripts actions are just below the behavioral heuristics threshold.
I think you are aware of it...
With current version of Bitdefender, I must supplement it with anti-executable for vulnerable processes (interpreters = cscript.exe, wscript.exe, cmd.exe, powershell.exe, etc). I would much prefer to have no need of any other security soft beyond Bitdefender.
I am not suggesting Bitdefender incorporate anti-executable functionality. I am just using anti-executable for time being as a just-in-case measure...
