Free Addition Questions

m a fully paid up member, but as i work on a ship for 6 months of the year (month on month off), i have a very good gaming desktop in my cabin. alas this time away i got a virus, with no virus scanner i was goosed. this computer will never go on the internet. my question is this. if i get the free addition, can i download the updates to a USB pen, take it to the ship. then get the free addition to update from that.

also most of the other crew has gaming computers on the ship. will i be able to pass the USB stick around to update every one else, also could i just down load a free addition and then put it on all the computers.

Hello K1M,

Yes you can download the signatures for malware here. This package includes more signatures. You need to install BitDefender Antivirus 10 free edition. One side note the free version doesn't work on Vista pc's that have service pack 1 have installed.
