Email Client Will Not Connect To Mail Server

I installed BD 2008 and now my email client will not connect to mail server. I use a client called 'Becky' by Rimart. My system is 64bit XP. I've installed DB 2008 on nearly 20 machines all different hardware, most XP pro and not had any problems till now. One machine even uses my Becky client with no problems (is 32bit XP Pro)


Things I've tried:


1) Using msconfig and disabling everything but Microsoft processes including BD 2008.


Results:


I managed to get email immediately after boot, but not any time after that. Seems BD started something even though I told it not to.


2) Uninstalled BD 2008.


Result:


Was able to repeatedly get email.


3) Disable scanning of incoming and outgoing email (rebooted even).


Results:


Same as item 1.


4) Tried Outlook Express.


Result:


Worked.


5) Selected to not run at Windows startup.


Results:


Worked, till I started BD 2008


Are there any solutions? And don't tell me to use Outlook Express, I'll sooner look for another Anti Virus program.

    Did you put Becky client to Exception list ?!


    Did you set Antispam to Moderate or Permisive ?!
