Popups For Antivirus 2008 And 2009 - How Do I Get Rid Of Them?

Our laptop computer has been hit with another virus that is loading popups on the screen when we use Window Explorer. A lot of different titles, but all indicating antivirus programs of one sort or another

Also in the bottom right of the screen the "windows security center" shows automatic updates as off, and yet in the control panel, it is on.

Very similar to the post from iamhardlyeva@hotmail.com, with similar popup screens. Did try to restore to an earlier point, but it did not work.

How do we diagnose?

I have added a Hyjackthis file

Where do we start? Some direction would be greatly appreciated.
