Can I Get The Strong Protection From Sortcut Virus?
This is very disgusting when see the shortcut virus again & again attack our office PC's. I have set up windows again & again but no way we cant remove the shortcut virus.
If have any strong protection by the bitdefender so know us.

The files are still there, but they were made hidden.
To be able to recover them and to prevent this issue from now on we recommend the following steps:
1) Disable external devices Auto-play.
2) Enable "Show hidden files and folders" in Windows, then connect the affected USB stick.
3) Save the attachment "shortcut fix.reg.txt" to the computer, rename it into shortcut fix.reg and run it.
4) Now you should be able to see the original files.
5) If you have Bitdefender run a scan on the external device to ensure it's malware-free or run this diagnostic tool (while the USB stick is still connected) and send us the output at bitsy@bitdefender.com
