Security For Windows Server

Hi


I have recently purchased Security for Windows Servers. I have recently had to uninstall the program as i installed it wrongly. I uninstalled it with the Add/Remove tool in the control panel and with the uninstall tool from the website. Now when i try to install it again i get a message in the installation saying that there is another anti virus program installed on the exchange and it must be removed before i can install BitDefender, however there is no other program.


It appears the uninstall process did not remove the program completely as there were icons and entries left in the registry. I have done a clean up of the registry but this did not have an affect.


I was hoping someone maybe able to help with a work around for this as i have not been able to find anything else about it on the web.

    Sorry for the delay.


    Did you used this uninstaller? Because the uninstaller that you can download from bitdefender.com/uninstall is only for removing BitDefender customer products and not business products.


    You can try microsoft installer cleanup. Download it here. Install it run it and look for any entries that have BitDefender in the name or just numbers select it and press on remove. Confirm the warning.
