Bitdefender For Unices Crashing On Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.1

Hi I recently installed Bitdefender for Unices on Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.1 and every time I try to scan with BD it crashes. I was told on another forum site that I need to backtrace but I'm not sure how to do that? I really want to be able to use BD on my Linux Mint laptop. Can someone please help me?
