Nzxt Cam - Cam_Client_V3.exe Infected Web Resource Detected

Bitdefender Total Security 2016

Rebooted this morning 16.03.20 and getting alerts every 2-5 seconds regarding cam_client_v3.exe. The two detections appear to be API urls identifying components and may not be limited to these specific urls:

The application cam_client_v3.exe accesses a web resource http://camwebapi2.azurewebsites.net/nzxtcamapi/v1/gpu/spec/id/NVIDIA%20GeForce%20GTX%20980 that has been detected as infected.

The application cam_client_v3.exe accesses a web resource http://camwebapi2.azurewebsites.net/nzxtcamapi/v1/cpu/spec/id/Intel%20Core%20i7-4790k that has been detected as infected.

I've attempted to add cam_client_v3.exe to exclusions but since it's a web request, continues to alert.

Virus Total shows every other detection engine coming back as clean:

This appears to be a false positive but in trying to submit it to your false positive ticket system, the web page freezes.

Please advise or work with NZXT CAM and update to sort this out as this is an essential component to Kraken water cooling hardware and temperature monitoring.

Another user and I have submitted an issue/comment to their support forum as well: http://camfeedback.nzxt.com/forums/252256-bugs-issues/suggestions/13048299-bitdefender-infected-web-resource-detected

Thank you.

EDIT: In the meantime one can "deny" cam_client_v3.exe in the firewall module to cease the alerts and still use CAM. Pic attached.
