Bitdefender Occupies Port 4369 ?
hej,
i have following "interesting" behaviour:
* i tried to do some research in erlang and perceived when i want to register a distributed erlang node that i get an error about port 4369 is being occupied
* with netstat it is not shown that port 4369 is used by someone
* with turning off all firewall capabilities the problem still is there
* also with stopping all bitdefender services the problem is still there
* after deinstalling bitdefender + doing a reboot (without reboot - the error was still there) - the registering of erlang node worked !
i am using bitdefender 2008 IS on windows xp/sp3 & vista/sp1
can you tell me whether bitdefender internally uses somehow exactly this port (4369) ?
