Bitdefender Agent Doesn't Start

My agent doesn't start when i press the icon if i wait a bit it says failed to start the virus shield... What should i do?

What exactly do you mean my agent doesn't start? Do you mean that you can't see BitDefender Security center? Or that you see that the virus shield isn't active?

Please check the status off the BitDefender Services:

Press the windows button together with r now type services.msc press enter.

BitDefender Communicator service should have status started (running), startup type should be set on automatic.

BitDefender virus shield: started,automatic

BitDefender Desktop update service: started,automatic

BitDefender Threat Scanner started,manual

Try this also restart the BitDefender Communicator service by first selecting it and press on restart on the left side.

Press the windows button again together with r now type msconfig press enter. Click on the startup tab and see if the box before bdagent.exe is checked.

Perform an update with BitDefender reboot and see if the problem persists if so you can perform a repair installation. First right click on the red BitDefender icon near the system tray and press on exit. Now click on start,programs,BitDefender 2008,repair & remove choose repair. You will be asked to reboot please do that.

u where right i looked op in msconfig than services and whole my bitdefender stuff like shield agents .... lay off so i putted on started the pc up again and everything works perfect again " /> thx for ur help niels
