Does The Free Version Include The Option To Exclude Files?

Haven`t installed the free version in a while but I seem to remember that you did not have the option to exclude files in that version.
If the AV flagged a legitimate program you would have to go through the slow process of flagging it as a false positive and sending that info to the developers and that took a lot of precious time between the report and the devs sending out a fix.
