BitDefender installing twice?
I am trying to upgrade to Total Security 2017. I ran the installer and it took about an hour as I have a slow Internet connection. It went through everything it needed to do and uninstalled TS 2016 and asked to reboot my computer so I did. Now I am back up and it is downloading the 388.2MB file AGAIN. What gives? I searched for an answer but the only thread I found is /index.php?/topic/72622-downloading-twice-377mb-when-upgrading/" rel="">unavailable.

Are you using any cleaning software that may have removed the downloaded files ?0 -
Hello I had the same problem. I use the Bitdefender cleaner tool and do a fresh installation for 2017 product. the installation interface show 2017 however the final product is still 2016.
I have no idea why. Tried on my both laptops. Same result.
