When Is Bitdefender Operating
After using Bitdefender for years I gave myself a start by looking at the Task Manager. I see that when I click on the Bitdefender Icon and Bitdefender appears on my desktop, Task Manager show it as and application running. Also, the bitdefender exe is shown as a Process. If I close Bitdefender on the desktop Task Manager does not show Bitdefender as a running application but bitdefender exe remains as a process. I always thought that Bitdefender was ON and protecting my computer from incoming viruses in either case. I have not had a problem in the many hours I have run my computer and when I do a scan with Bitdefender I rarely detect a virus. Please confirm that that Bitdefender is providing protection whether it is running as an application or as a process. Thanks
