Bitdefender Finding Worms In .exe Files

Can anybody tell me why the irc karaoke chat rooms that I frequent have suddenly been deleted by bitdefender siteing a worm in the .exe file and deleting it therefore rendering the irc ****** useless. I understand that this is called a false positive but I am unsure as to what corse of action to take to stop this happening can anyone help please

Well you could, for starters, tell us what names BitDefender detects your files with, then upload the detected files in a password protected archive (you can find the required information in our How To section).
