I have Total Security 2017 and Windows 10. I keep getting this message. What do I need to do to fix it?
Helloo Hersheykiss. I think the problem is with BD update server. They will fix it soon probably, but if you don`t want to wait, you should try alternate upgrade server. Try connecting to a different network and see if the issue persists (McDonalds/Starbucks/Hotspot etc)

So checking my network can't be done at home?
I did the system file checker and it came up with nothing. Can changes to the proxy and VPN settings cause a problem? I recall playing around one day and turned on the proxy setting and noticed today that my VPN setting was on. That is about when this problem started. I turned both off today. I guess that was the right thing to do?? I don't even know what a proxy setting is!
If you are not using a Proxy, its best to have the option disabled.
