My Autoupdates with Bitdefender Total Security 2017 also failing now.
I had autoupdate on, advised it hadn't updated for days checked and autoupdate off. Turned it back on, next day its set to autoupdate off. Been happening for over a week now

Please let me know what Windows build are you running on your machines and what type of connection ?
If you are using Wi-Fi please try a cabled connection and see if the issue persists afterwards.
If you have any other security solutions, please remove them from the machine.0 -

I have a home computer with 20Mbps cable internet connection and it is rarely restarted. Sometimes it works week or two, only hibernating system through nights. I have relentless problem with updating Bitdefender despite version I use. I have found that Bitdefender Support created issue ticket for /index.php?/profile/103810-mark123/&do=hovercard" data-mentionid="103810" href="<___base_url___>/index.php?/profile/103810-mark123/" rel="">@mark123 with the same problem for Bitdefender 2016. So far problem persists.
So let's hope some day Bitdefender will solve this issue.0
