Can't send email

I switched off each and every protection setting I can find. (newbie alert)

In AV I switched of scanning incoming and outgoing emails.

I whitelisted my email client (The Bat!)

I can receive emails but not send them. Sending just times out after a while.

The email server (Gmail) is fine because I can send from my phone and web browser using te same account without any issues.


EDIT: Perhaps related; I get a lot of DNS errors when surfing on the PC with BD 2018. Others PCs in my network don't have any issues.


  • You may need to contact with your imap provider on ssl port options. Changing port options in outlook works many of the times.
