Cannot Connect to Network Share on Different Subnet
I just updated from Total Security 2017 to 2018 and I am now having issues connecting to my mapped network drives in Windows. In 2017 I was able to fix this by creating a network exception for the different subnets that I use I.E. 192.168.2.0/24. In 2018 that feature is now gone in the firewall section. I already followed this: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2128/ guide and it had no effect. I can however ping the server as well as access the web interface
I added firewall rules with the subnet 192.168.2.0/24 and even the specific IP of the server and I was still unable access my shares. I tried adding explorer.exe as an application and allowed all traffic still with no dice. The only way that I was able to get it to work was to change the default application behavior to allow or disable the firewall entirely. Neither of these options are good for security.
