Advanced Threat Defence

After waiting three (yes 3) hours for Bitdefender Total Security 2018 to update, I now have an "At Risk" warning.
Apparently Advanced Threat Defence is disabled.
I tried to "Fix" it. It won't fix.
I tried to switch it on, it won't switch on.
I added a couple of programs to the whitelist, it won't switch on.
Now what ?
