VPN issues

So in few words, the company I'm working for uses Pulse VPN which performs a 'compliance scan' of the device before it even allows a VPN logon screen to pop-up and this pre-check is saying that Windows Defender real-time protection is not enabled.

I am obviously using BitDefender Total Protection 2018, but this VPN client does not recognize BitDefender so I need to at the very least let Windows Defender do its own Real-Time Scanning.

I've gone through all the menus in BitD2018 and have done several searches here without luck.

A:  Any idea if this can even be done?

B:  If so, how do you do it?

Thanks,

M.

why you use VPN anyway? First thing is, to disable VPN in Windows. Always. Its a relevant leak to hack people.

why you think VPN is secure and why you use VPN still.

explain. It shows not any true security, if people wanna hack you, they do anyway, it makes your net slow.

  • Hello,

It has been discussed several times.

Pulse needs to add the 2018 version of Bitdefender to their allowed list.  Its not something Bitdefender can do.

Best course of action is to contact Pulse or have your IT department contact them directly.
