Overzealous Malware Protection
Hi,
Can we have more controls over what application can run and access the internet and what cannot?
I have many legit application that I have used for many years after some updates get blocked - Acemoney, even Stream, Ubisoft games and also Cheathappens tools. I have been bitdefender customer for many many years. and this is getting worst experience. If I disable the firewall, anti-virus and malware protection, every folder now cannot even copy and block me from accessing even though I am the administrator of my system? I am very gutted and frustration to spend hours trying to fix the errors, exe file got quarantine or worst deleted without a quick way for me to whitelist the application from firewall, anti-virus and the malware protection. In order to whitelist, I have to go every single setting and it does mean it will work!
I have to uninstall to make it work... now exploring other brands.
