Bitdefender Is 2008 Updates

Hi guys

I have been using Bit Defender internet security 2008 for a year and had no problems.Recently last week the Bitdefender hourly update popped up a window asking me to re-boot the PC.I rebooted it and changed the option to "Don't prompt ,wait till reboot" in the update settings which was present for the past 1 year.Now when i have this option set ,every hr when it tries to update a balloon pop-up warns me "Your PC security is at risk" and disappears in 2 seconds.When i uncheck the "Don't prompt..." option ,after every update it asks me for a reboot.

This is a new behavior which i am observing only from the past 4-5 days.

Can some of you guys help me out.Thanks in advance
