I have no idea what the deal is with this version of BD but a new thing it started doing a few days ago is delaying Windows startup. It sits at the login in screen with the wheel spinning for about 15 seconds and then goes to the desktop. It used to go right to the desktop and then the BD icon would be greyed out for 15 seconds until the shields started. I guess the answer was to have the system hang on the login in screen? Great idea.
Windows 7, Intel i5, 16 gigs of ram, Crucial SSD. My system without BD flies.
I'm about ready to call customer service and get a refund on my two year subscription and move to Kaspersky.
This release is horrible.
