Can Bitdefender block auto installation of McAfee ?

Some time ago, when we installed or upgraded Adobe components, we could choose not to want the McAfee anti-virus.
Now, if we update (for example) Photoshop, Adobe does the unattended installation of McAfee.
Is there any possibility that Bitdefender does not allow installations without permission?
