March 2019 update caused serious issues
Last night, bitdefender told me that I needed to do a software update. I assumed some sort of patch or update to the bitdefender product. This caused a reboot of my system and since then, bitdefender fails to load all services and my machine is running probably one-fifth to one-tenth of its normal speed. I can't open task Manager anymore and other applications take significantly longer to load. I rebooted multiple times with no luck. I'm hoping I don't have to uninstall and reinstall everything. Any suggestions?

Try to reinstall Bitdefender using the uninstall tool below:
https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2019_Uninstall_Tool.exe
After that reinstall Bitdefender from your Central account.
