Random BSODs

My daughter uses a Windows 10 laptop and I have found that if I install Bitdefender Total Security 2019, she starts getting random BSODs, typically once a day + or -. The last time it happened, I ran the "Who Crashed?" utility and it definitely pointed the finger at Bitdefender, but I can't remember the details and the dump file has since been erased (not sure how, but it has).

What would be the best and least intrusive way for me to troubleshoot this problem, given that I don't know when it's likely to recur?

For the time being, I have unistalled Bitdefender and installed a trial version of a Norton product to keep protection active and to see if that also causes BSODs. It's been on the laptop for a few days and hasn't caused any BSODs so far.
