Bug report: Zombie processes
So while Zombie processes are well known in linux, they also exist in windows. They tend to be caused by system drivers not releasing handles. You can see them if you use RAM MAP (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/rammap) and look at the processes tab (they occupy 0k memory).
For the last few months I seen a huge number of zombie processes accumulating in only a few hours of use. If I uninstall bitdefender this seems to decline significantly.
Can anyone else verify this? Just run RAMMAP, look in the processes tab and order by private memory use.
