Offline Update

Hello, I have been using Rescue CD to scan some machines in a property which has no Internet access. Until recently I have been downloading the cumulative.zip file to ensure that it has the latest definitions. 

This download seems to have been removed? Please can someone tell me how i can import offline updates to a rescue CD?

You can update definitions manually by following these steps:

1. Download the file below and place it on the computer you wish to use the Rescue CD with: http://download.bitdefender.com/updates/bitdefender_v9/cumulative.zip

2. Boot from the rescue CD and bring up the Bitdefender interface. The update will fail, ignore this.

3. In the Bitdefender interface, press on Update now, and wait for the update to fail.

4. Press on Manual update in the corner of the window, and select the cumulative.zip file to open.

Afterwards, Bitdefender will update with the definitions from the file, and you can then run the scan.

Note: The file from the link above is updated weekly.
