Installing on another family device issues

I've freshly installed Bitdefender 2020 with the family unlimited pack on a new computer but after installation and trying to open Bitdefender, the account login window appears.  This seems off because in other installations on different computers, after downloading Bitdefender from the generated share link, the program installed and automatically registered under the main account without the account login window appearing.  

Do you know why the install won't automatically register the account and me being able to run Bitdefender on this new computer?

You are correct, usually the antivirus will automatically register itself, however, it may be that your device encountered a hiccup while registering the device, hence why your credentials were requested. This is the software's normal behavior in such a situation.
