Bitdefender doesn't appear in tray

Good evening,
Apologies if this is the wrong category or a silly question. I have used Bitdefender for several years now and it is a great product.
I recently bought a new laptop and installed Bitdefender security. The thing is it doesn't appear in my tray after i turn on my laptop. I checked startup program and it is there. When i click on bitdefender in my menu, it appears and says I am safe. However, if i close it, it doesn't still doesn't appear in my tray.
Anyone know why this is. Thanking you in advance for any help.
