Paid subscription, activation does not work

I did email company, they said i received activation code to follow directions, one month later it still doesn't work. Asked for money back in same email, crickets...HELP...how can I get a new Activation code. I see this has happened to other people before.
Also, they seem to out of the U.S. a Bulgarian firm?
