Hope someone can advise.

I Recently downloaded this kit from the above site after reading an interesting review.

I installed alongside my existing AV; Webroot.

During the final stages of the bitdefender installation, webroot alerted me to a threat: Mal/Basine-C.

Prior to this installation, my system was clean - i'm running vista ultimate (3 days old)

Following the install and after a reboot, webroot now alerts me of another threat: Potentially rootkit-masked registry

Interestingly, bitdefender does not report any such threats.

Webroot has quarantined both instances.

Now my question is, has webroot over-reacted to some innocent files that bitdefender has installed or should i be worried about something more sinister?

Grateful for any views.

In the meantime, i'm removing bitdefender until i can establish 100% assurance.

Please post the exact location and detection names of the detected files.
